Lindsay signs... the fans go wild!
Well, Lindsay Wagner, the original Bionic Woman, turned up, as promised at the Autographica event this weekend and we went down today [Sunday] to meet her ourselves. She was great, very gracious, happy to sign fan-items and pose for photo's, a perfect guest. Time was limited, due to people waiting, but it was good to see she was definitely the most popular guest in the hall with a constant stream of people waiting to see her... she even out-did Hollywood legend Tony Curtis! Thanx for coming to see your UK fans Lindsay, we really appreciate it! Now if we can just get a certain Mr.Majors to come over....

New Bionic Woman soundtrack CD
Joe Harnell composed the music for the original Bionic Woman series over 30 years ago, but the music defined the series and is close to the hearts of many of it's fans. Despite Joe's untimely death in 2005, his music is still being re-mastered and released onto CD via his official fan site. The latest offering is music Joe composed for the BW/SMDM 3-parter 'Kill Oscar'. The story crossed over onto both Bionic shows, starting on Bionic Woman, then continuing on The Six Million Dollar Man, before concluding on Bionic Woman. The new CD features music never before released from the show, including an unused version of the title music. Listen to this new title music here, plus a sample of Track 14 to see what you are missing. The pressing is limited to 1000 units and available to order from www.joeharnell.com.

Germany have just released the first season of the orginal 70's Bionic Woman series on DVD, and a mighty fine job they have done of it, too! Steve Austin is 35 years old today!
Yes, as difficult as it is to beleive it is 35 years ago today, back in 1973, that ABC first broadcast "The Six Million Dollar Man" telemovie to TV viewers young and old, and a legend was born. Many of us are still here 35 years later, expectantly waiting a new TV series, a motion picture, or just the old shows to get a DVD release that pays them the respect and appreciation they so rightly deserve. So, Styeve, here's to the next 35 Bionic years!

3 Tough Guys
Lee and Alex Wynter [Ben10 director] were guests on Jonathan Ross' BBC Radio 2 show today and a fine old time they had! They were on for around 40 minutes, including music and news and it was great to hear Lee in a real interview rather than just the usual 5-minute sound bite or promo bits. Lee and Alex both had plenty to say and Jonathan drew out some stories of Lee's work on his previous shows and with the old Hollywood greats: Barbara Stanwyck, Joan Crawford and Charlton Heston. Drop by Jonathan's homepage to re-listen to the show over the next 7 days [Lee and Alex come on around 30-40 minutes into the show] and we'll be posting editted highlights of the interview next week. By the way, Lee mentioned the huge British fan following he has, plus a certain un-offcial web site :+}

Lee & Faith on This Morning
As promised Lee was the big guest on today's edition of the topical ITV morning show This Morning and Faith came too! The pair seemed to enjoy themselves and got to taste/judge a shortbread making competition [Lee commented afterwards he got a sugar buzz!]. Lee then joined hosts Fearn and Eamon on the couch for a chat. The subject of the new Bionic show came up and Lee commented he thought it was too dark and violent for kids, not like Lindsay's original show. They showed some clips from SMDM, Fall Guy and Big Valley [a movie of the BV 2-parter 'Flight of the Lost Souls' was on Channel 5 this afternoon... talk about getting your Lee-fix all in one day!], and Lee commented how good the 2 young stars of Ben10:RAT were. I think we would all have liked the interview to go on longer, but alittle Lee is better than none! The main interview is available in RealMedia here [10Mb].

Lee & Ross... a winning combination
Lee is to be a guest on Jonathan Ross' hit BBC radio show next Saturday, February 9th, along with the movie director Alex Winter. Jonathan Ross is known for having fun with his guests and for having his finger on the pulse of popular culture, as anyone who has either listened to his radion show or seen his Friday night BBC 1 chat show will know. Expect Lee to have a good time and the subject of Bionics to definitely come up!
When I Find the Ocean release update
We heard from our contact at Cyprus Moon Productions this week with news on the delayed release of When I Find the Ocean. He had this to say:
As of Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008, "When I Find The Ocean" was acquired by a different distributor called MontereyMedia. This is great news because this company is going to release the film in select theaters in the U.S., DVD and television. The plans are for the theatrical release in June '08. We waited for the clearances on two songs, which we are now lifting to prevent any further delays. Everyone is very excited about the theatrical release. Maybe we'll get one in Europe.
Your patience has meant a lot to us. I can tell you that no one wants to see this film more than the director. It has been a long year since
the announcement was made for DVD release. We're all just looking forward to holding a copy in our hands.
We will let you know the dates and cities of the theatrical release so that all the Lee Majors fans will be up to date on "When I Find The
Ocean." The DVD will be released shortly there after, with even more special features.

Ben10 press release
We want to thank Barney Hopper at Cartoon Network, London, for the following Press Release for the movie and the accompanying stills:
The UK premiere of Cartoon Network's highly anticipated live-action movie Ben 10: Race Against Time, based on the hit animated series launches on Cartoon Network on the first day of half term: Monday 11th February at 10am.
Ben Tennyson is a normal 10-year-old boy but ever since he got a strange gadget called the Omnitrix stuck to his wrist he's been able to turn into 10 alien superheroes that can fly, shoot fire and even walk through walls. From the powerful Fourarms and the beastly Wildmutt to the super-fast XLR8 and the slime-spitting Stinkfly, Ben can morph into a whole host of superheroes with an amazing array of super powers.
The movie follows Ben as he returns to his hometown after an exciting summer travelling across the country fighting evil with his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max. Any hope of a quiet routine of family, friends and school is shattered as Ben's nemesis, Eon arrives from another galaxy to claim the Omnitrix and destroy the Earth. Now, Ben, Gwen and Grandpa Max are on a mission to stop Eon and save the world from total destruction!
The movie which broke all ratings records when it aired in the US is directed by Alex Winter star of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. The film stars Graham Phillips (Evan Almighty) in the coveted role of Ben Tennyson, Haley Ramm (X-Men 3) as Gwen and Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man) as Grandpa Max.
Jo Barlow, VP of Turner Broadcasting says, "Ben 10 has proven to be a huge hit for us in 2007. We are really excited about the movie as it has everything a Ben 10 fan would expect; action, suspense and an awesome villain. It's the next step in the Ben 10 adventure and I can't wait to tune in."

Ben10 London prem. update
We spoke to a very helpful chap from Cartoon Network's London office today and he said the premiere is a one-off event and, unfortunatly, not open to the public. The special screeining is for competition winners, and the like, and as a prelude to the movie having it's UK Tv debut on the next day, on Monday the 11th of February. It will be screened at 10am and then repeated at 5pm, GMT, but please re-check times with your local cable/satellite supplier. We asked if they were considering doing a sequel, due to the huge ratings numbers that this one brought in and the response was "Watch this space". Keep checking back, we'll post up any further promotional information for Lee and the movie that we get as we hear it.

Classic Bionic Commando gets an update... twice!
Anyone one around in the age of clasic gaming in the mid-'80's will likely have played Bionic Commando, a regular GI Joe guy with one exceptional ability/weapon... a Bionic arm. Although not one of the biggest selling games of the NES [Nintendo Entertainment System] era, Bionic Commando is now fondly remembered by almost all who played it. With Bionic Woman back on TV, it's the Commando's time for a make-over not once, but twice. The original game is being updated and coming to Xbox LIVE® Arcade, PlayStation® Network and PC in spring 2008. Entitled Bionic Commando Rearmed, the game has had a graphical make-over and can be played in single or multi-player mode. Also on the horizon is sequel to the original game with all new Next Gen graphics, again for Xbox 360 PS3 and PC. Check out the below pics and visit the official full-blown web experience that is Bionic Commando for the full intel!

All-new Next Gen graphics will make this Bionic Commando a force to be reckoned with!

The original NES graphics, and below Bionic
