Seasons Greetings!

Mutants meets Bionics?
Rumours have sprung up over the last couple of days that X-Men helmer Bryan Singer may be about to bring The Six Billion Dollar Man to the big screen. Talk abounds that The Weinstein Compnay are in negotiations with Universal to use the licence. Reaction seems mixed, but if it does happen, Leonardo Di Caprio is being touted for the lead... YIKES! Meet the Majors
First official glimpse of Lee in next week's episode of Raising Hope. 'Burt's Parents' airs on Fox on Tuesday November 15th. Synopsis: Jimmy, Virginia, Burt, Sabrina, Maw Maw and Hope borrow a house to impress Burt's wealthy parents (guest stars Lee Majors and Shirley Jones) who have decided at the last minute to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family. Things get interesting when the real homeowners return early, and Burt's folks get a taste of what life is really like for Burt and Virginia.

Lee takes his acting gigs lying down for a change...
Lee's episode of Grey's Anatomy 'Poker Face' aired on Thursday this week and good fun it was! Lee played the role well, just the right amount of humour and determination, and you can just imagine Faith lurking off screen smirking. We have a album of screen grabs from the show here. Enjoy!

Lee goes into hospital...
Lee will appear in 2 weeks time on hit ABC hospital drama Grey's Anatomy. In epsidoes 6 of the 8th season, entitled 'Poker Face' Lee will appear with fellow 70's start Marilu henner. More here.
New Bionic toy range announced
Bif Bang Pow have announced they now have the licence to official produce toys and merchandise ased on The Six Million Dollar Man. The press release says:
Bif Bang Pow!'s Six Million Dollar Man collection will present an array of articulated retro action figures and bobble heads of fan-favorite Col. Steve Austin and other memorable characters, as well as a number of Six Million Dollar Man themed collectibles like license plate frames, tin boxes, coasters, snow globes, and glassware.

Complete SMDM DVD set gets UK release date... hell yeah!
A page on Play.com reveal a 40-disc DVD Six Million Dollar Man set is due out in the UK on November 28th.
No further details are on the page, or any artwork, however the TimeLife set exclusive expires for the US market at the same time and is also a 40-disc set, so this COULD be the same set, under a Region 2 release. Stay tuned for more details. Here is the page from play.com.

Premier of' Unknown Solider' now known.
The documentary Lee has narrated “Heading Back Home: Franklin’s Unknown Soldier and the Civil War’s Five Bloodiest Hours will get it's premiere on Friday October 14th at the Franklin Theatre. Tickets are $25.00 and $35.00 and can be purchased here. Lee and Faith are hoping to make it to the premiere, work permitting.

Lee is shooting his Raising Hope episode this week, with some long working days between 6am and 10pm. Faith tells us the episode is going to be 'very cute'!

Lee's hopes rise for new role
Lee gets his first guest role of the new season on the FOX comedy Raising Hope. He will play Burt Chance's dad, along with Shirley Jones as Burt's Mum. The second season the show start starts on Tuesday the 20th of September. No more details or an air date for Lee's episode as yet, we'll keep ya posted. Check out the official FOX Raising Hope site.

The Men From Shiloh ride to DVD this Fall.
TVShowsonDVD have had a couple of items on the up-coming release of The Virginian's 9th and final season - The Men From Shiloh - for the last couple of weeks. Here is the finalised artwork [with Lee squeezed in on the end!] for the Men's release on October 25th. The 8-disce set is currently on pre-order on Amazon at $48.99. No details about extras is known at the minute. This is one Lee Majors shows fans have been clamouring to get their hands on for years and many will be adding to their Christmas list, we're sure.

Bionic sell-out!
The Bionic Man #1 comic sold out just about everywhere in it's first day on sale! Wow, what a sucess. Dynamite Entertainment are already rushing the comic into a second printing. We hope everyone was able to get a copy, if not, that'll teach you to pre-order :+} Seriously, good news for the title, and Bionics in general.

Lee crosses the border for next apperance
Lee is down to attend the Canadian Fan Expo at Metro Toronto Center through the weekend of August 25th to 28th! That's just 2 short weeks away! Oyther guests at the event include Dallas legend Larry Hagman, Star Trek's one and only William Shatner, Heroes Hayden Panettiere, and Bionic Woman baddie Katee Sackhoff [boo] and too many more genre stars to mention. The Chase is on... DVD!
As we mentioned on twitter a couple of weeks ago, Lee's 1981 movie The Last Chase gets an official DVD release from CodeRed. The movie dropped through our mailbox this weekend and it's well worth splashing out on. Whilst the movie hasn't been re-mastered, it is in better shape than when it was on VHS and it comes with a full director's commentary by Martyn Burke, plus interviews with Burke and co-star George Touliatos. There are some great stories around the making of the film, and of course Lee's involvement. You can order from here and the CodeRed page is here. You could hear a pin drop...
Yes, we're still here, just wanted to let everyone know the site hasn't been negleted, just that there is no real news coming through at the minute. As far as we know the SF Channel [We refuse to say SyFy!] are still proceeding with Me & Lee for what is looking like the fall at the ealiest. it keeps getting mentioned online, although no filming dates or abything else has been revealed.
We know Lee & Faith are fine and well, as have heard from them a couple of times, but with most projects people don't like to put the information out there until they are a done deal, so we can understand them not wanting to give exact details, but as soon as we know anything, you'll know
In the meantime, be sure to follow our twitter feed - at Bionic Tweets - were we are actively daily with Bionic and other news: we don't just try to keep you informed but entertained as well :+}

Countdown to Jerusalem
Lee's Jerusalem Countdown is planned for an August release, the web site it now up, here is the poster artwork, plus a cool trailer. The movie has a Twitter page here and the obligatory Facebook page right here. Not everything is good news however, as the studio behind the movie, 10 West, is looking at a cut to Michigan's film incentive budget which could affect them big-time. Red Carpet event
Lee and Faith were again on the red carpet for the HBO premiere for the documentary His Way, in LA last week, here's some pics. The documentary is about legendary Hollywood producer Jerry Weintraub and airs on HBO April 4th.

Lee gets hairy with Medusa
With a cast including Lee Majors and Lupe Ontiveros [Storytelling] along with some fresh-faced younger talent of the likes of Matthew Montgomery [Socket], Matthew Leitch and Marco Dapper [Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds] get ready to take on one of the scariest villians in horror lore and Greek mythology, Medusa.
Plot details are sparse: "A Columbia University professor attempts to fight the evil spirit of the mythological Medusa." Medusa is still in pre-production. Filming is set for Romania where Jorge Ameer will be taking on writting, producing and directing duties.
