The wedding crasher
E-Online reports that Lee is to guest star in the sitcom Part Down, as he crashes the wedding of one of the regulars, Constance Carmell [Jane Lynch]. The series is about a bunch of struggling actors who pass the time working for the LA catering company 'Party Down' as they wait for their big break. No news of what Lee will be getting up to, but the site says "We don't want to spill what he does when he gets there, but if you've ever seen a TV wedding, you can probably guess".

Lee drops in on the neighbours
Lee was out and about this last week filming in Manistee, for 10 West studios, for what sounds like Jerusalem Countdown, the 2nd of 2 faith-based films for the company, with The Revelator finishing up filming just the other week. The film company took over one of the local houses next to the studios and there is report on the filming and of the family meeting Lee. It's a great little article and you can find it here. Give it a read.
Bionic Woman full-stream ahead
If you are lucky enough to live in thew Sates, the free online video service HULU has started making the first season of the original Bionic Woman show available to view online. The show is available to watch here.

It's quiet, too quiet...
News is a little slow at the moment, so we decided to check and update current movie projects. Conflict of Interest still appear in post-production. We know this was a low-budget film but it appears to be taking forever to come out! IMDB still has no listing of Lee's The Last Mission, although the web site is still up and active, so we've got our fingers crossed for that one. New on the slate for 2010 is Climbing Life, something currently in pre-production. As soon as WE hear more, YOU'LL will hear more!

Farrah Fawcett - RIP
It is with great sadness that we learnt Farrah lost her on-going battle with cancer yesterday and passed away at the age of 62. The 70's superstar, famous for 'that' swimsuit poster' and one of the orginal Charlie's Angels, star was first daignosed with cancer in 2006 and despite treatment and several positive signs, the cancer returned in May 2007. Tributes have come in from across the industry, including Lee, who was married to Farrah between 1973 and 1982. "My wife Faith and I were saddened to hear of Farrah's passing," Lee tells Entertainment Tonight. "She fought a tremendous battle against a terrible disease. She was an angel on earth and now an angel forever." Our thoughts are with her family and friends. For anyone wanting to know more about the star, the Belfast Telegraph has a tribute article here.

Beast'-ly tribute
The 80's New York hip-hop trio The Beastie Boys have gone punk on a newly released single from their forth coming Fall album. The track, "Lee Majors Come Again," surfaced on a bonus 7" that was included with the March 30 vinyl reissue of the Beasties' 1992 classic, Check Your Head. Music site, spin.com says the track is ... Over three-and-a-half-minutes of furious electric guitar and fat distorted bass, MCA, Ad-Rock, and Mike D trade lines about Apple Bottom jeans, kung-fu grips, and the Six Million Dollar Man himself, Lee Majors. You can listen to track here.

Lee recently contributed to a spoof commerical, Pet Hunt, for Will Ferrell's Funny or Die website, along with several other celebrities. The ad went up today and is VERY funny, though has some language. We should say there is no intention to offend anyone, Lee is a geniune cat lover - as are we!

Lindsay Wagner meets the fans!
Last night fans had the chance to meet and chat with Lindsay at an informal Q&A event in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. For 2 hours Lindsay entertained and charmed the audience, with stories from her career, her personal life and of course anecdotes from The Bionic Woman and don't believe any of those rumours of bad blood between her and Lee. She also said when she saw Lee at last year's TV festival in Rome he was as happy and relaxed as she has ever seen him... that's what finding the right woman does for you!. If you were lucky enough to go, like us, you'll know Lindsay was in fine form and our sister site has a review and photo's from the event from the Sheffield Star right here.

Farrah documentary to air this week
Farrah Fawcett's health continues to be a worry, as news came out recently that her cancer has now metastasized to her liver. Earlier this year Farrah allowed a documentary crew to film her as she flew between US and Germany to undergo treatment to raise awareness of the illness as well as her diagnosis and treatment. The two-hour special, Farrah's Story will air on NBC in the States this Friday. Yahoo-news reports that Farrah admits she'd rather be treated in private, because now she's gone public, the illness has taken over her life. "I'm a private person. I'm shy about people knowing things. And I'm really shy about my medical (care). It would be good if I could just go and heal and then when I decided to go out, it would be okay. It seems that there are areas that should be off-limits.

Lee gets 'Confidential for a new interview
As part of the promo for the one-week run of When I Find The Ocean in cinemas, during May, Lee was interviewed on TV Confidential yesterday. The site has a streaming version of the interview you can listen to here and we will post a copy on the site in the next week-or-so. The interview is really cool and Lee sounds very relaxed. He chats about working with Holly on 'Ocean, the co-producing The Last Mission and he says Hilary Duff has been cast in Bonnie & Clyde. There is a good segment where Lee chats about his days on The Big Valley and Lee chats to 'Valley co-star Charles Briles [Eugene] who he hasn't spoken to since 1965! The interview is the last 30 minutes of the show. Thanx to Hilary for the heads-up!

Grandpa Max is dead... long live Grandpa Max!
We heard about it a while ago, but it's been in the press this week... Lee will NOT be reprising his role as Grandpa Max in the next Ben10 live action movie, Ben10:Alien Swarm, due this Fall. It seems they have not only re-cast Grandpa Max, but also [if you can belive it] Gwen and even Ben himself! It looks like the studio [?] is wanting to go for an older Ben [around 20 years old] and give him a girlfriend and all. Not sure what the young fans will think of this, but there is already fan backlash over the re-casting. Ryan Kelley is the new Ben and Galadriel Stineman is Gwen. The Barry Corbin is taking over as Grandpa Max. Whilst we will miss Lee, the role is at least in safe hands as any fan of Barry's myriad roles will testify - anyone catch him in his re-occuring role on The Closer with Kyra Sedgwick?
Lee is God again... for one night only!
Confirmation of the airdate for According to Jim's season finale 'Heavan oppossed to hell' is Wednesday May 6th. Lee filmed this around Christmas time and once again plays God... some people get all the good roles!

Lee & Rance wow the crowds
Lee and Rance Howard were a hit at their festival talk on Friday night. as reported on the al.com blog. They said:
Howard, the longtime character actor, recounted his introduction into the craft when he was cast as the lead in a school play at age 12. Majors said he fell into acting accidentally, when he was sidelined for most of a season while playing football for the University of Kentucky.
Teammates dared Majors to try out for the lead in "The Crucible" and he got the part despite no training in acting. On opening night he saw his buddies and their girlfriends on the front row during a moving scene. "The girls all had tears in their eyes, and the guys were sort of welling up a little bit," Majors said. "That's when I said, '... I can do this.'"
Even today, Majors said, he's terrified to audition. But he insists on it anyway, not wanting to get a part just because of his fame or past work.
On "The Fall Guy" Majors says he's proud to have used every then-listed stuntman over the course of the series, including a 90-year-old.
Both men worked in westerns, with Howard saying his favorite moment in the genre was during his son, Ron's, direction of "Far and Away." In that film, Howard got to ride a horse in a re-creation of an actual race that both of his grandfathers had participated in.
Majors said his favorite western memory was of riding beside hero Roy Rogers in a "Fall Guy" episode.

Lee finds Life on Mars
Lee is in New York this week filming extras for ABC's Life on Mars DVD release later ijn the year. The show is a remake of a British BBC series of the same name, and sees a police detective from modern day transported back to the 70's to live life in the days before the Internet, mobile phones and even CSI! He is not sure how he got there and even less sure of how to get back to the life he knows. We're not sure exactley what Lee is doing, but no doubt it will be a retro feature either SMDM related, or maybe just Lee reminiscing about days gone by. We'll keep you posted as we hear here. New Year.... New Bionics!
2009 launches with the news there are continued releases for the Bionic shows in Europe, specificlly in Italy and Germany. As reported on July 19th 2008, following Lee and Lindsay's appearance at RomaFest, all 3 seasons of both SMDM and The Bionic Woman are now available on DVD in Italy. This is great news for fans as the Italian sets have now been confirmed to include an English soundtrack as well. Along with these releases, the 3rd
and final season of The Bionic Woman will be available in Germany from the 30th of January. Our good friend Roman, says extras are unconfirmed at the moment, although there is a strong likehood there will at least a booklet of some sort included in the set. You can be assured, however, that like the previous German BW DVD releases, this one will also include a 2.0
English language soundtrack, as well as the standard 2.0 Germany one.
Italian covers

The pound/euro exchange rate at the moment is making the European sets slightly more expensive for UK fans and the 3rd German Bionic Woman set is currently priced at 27.99 euros on Amazon.de, but in our opinion is well worth the few extra bucks as this is the first time the 3rd season has been avalable anywhere, with an English soundtrack.
Links to order these sets online:

Colt goes German for second outing
And the German's just keep putting a smile on our European faces! Fall Guy fans can look forward to even more things to smile about in 2009 with Season 2 of Lee's stunt-filled series The Fall Guy now available on DVD in Germany. The 6-disc set has both a German and English soundtrack and Amazon's German website currently have it for around 32.97 euroes. If sales hold up, we may even get up to 3rd season later in
2009. Order your copy from Amazon.de here...
